Other Items That Caught Our Eye This Week - w/e 17 February

by The Participator – 19 Feb 2018

Henry Bolton was voted out in a landslide defeat, and Gerard Batten MEP was announced as the interim leader. Some people were noticing the fact that only 1,378 votes were cast, some speculated that this could be a sign of dwindling party membership while others suspected a lack of interest in the question of the party’s leadership. From the Express:

Henry Bolton SACKED as Ukip leader as Jo Marney celebrates her ‘unconditional love’

So, after rejecting Anne Marie Waters due to her activism in opposition to the Islamic religion, now UKIP have an interim leader who seems to hold very similar views. From the Sun:

UKIP ISLAM ROW Islam ‘glorifies death’ and British Muslims should sign a document rejecting the Koran, Ukip’s acting leader says

From the Guardian:

Ukip’s Gerard Batten reiterates his belief that Islam is a ‘death cult’

He also has apparently stated that he thinks no new mosques should be allowed in the UK (until Saudi Arabia allows new churches to be built in Mecca – we suspect this will happen eventually when hell freezes over).

The media was buzzing with rumours that Corbyn had had some sort of traitorous dealings with the Czech administration during the Cold War, but the Independent dismissed the claims:

Yes, Corbyn was naive enough to meet with a Czech spy, but he was never an intelligence asset

Sky news also covered the story:

Jeremy Corbyn denies claims he was paid to spy on Britain during Cold War

According to the above article, Corbyn was known as Agent Cob, and a former Czech spy recalled that he assessed Mr. Corbyn’s potential as follows:

“Mr Corbyn was an honest man, but stupid.”

Corbyn’s Labour party was also in the news for other reasons this week. Corbyn’s determination to allow transgender men (while they are still legally regarded as men) to be included in all women shortlists led to a backlash on Mumsnet, from the Express:

Corbyn’s transgender NIGHTMARE: Mumsnet fires back at Labour leader over self ID policies

You don’t mess with the mums of Mumsnet, any fool knows that.

Labour also further increased the growing fears of white males that they are becoming second-class citizens in the West these days:

REDS’ WHITE BAN RAPPED Labour told that banning straight, white men from ‘equality’ events could break race laws

Charles Moore provides a warning at the Daily Telegraph (paywall):

Do not laugh off Corbyn’s shameful past – he’s the same old misguided, dangerous socialist

Also this (from 2015):

Jeremy Corbyn, friend to Hamas, Iran and extremists

Lots of charity scandals this week of course including Brendan Cox’s resignation, they were almost too numerous to mention them all here. One that particularly caught our eye though – political has-been and alleged terrorism advocate David Milliband suffered a blow to his lucrative ($600,000 p.a.) career in the charitable business. From the Express:

David Miliband’s charity ‘has its funds frozen’

From the Express:

The situation in Italy is becoming quite alarming, a French professor of history and writer/commentator shares his observations from a visit to Italy, (from Vlad Tepes blog):

An Italian criminologist is quoted at the Voice of Europe as saying the recent brutal murder of an Italian teenager bears the hallmarks of the Nigerian mafia’s methods:

From Germany a shocking story from an Israeli journalist who went undercover to gain entry:

In Italy and Germany there were violent confrontations between Antifa and the police when anybody tried to demonstrate against the impact of the migrant crisis. From the Express:

ITALY RIOTS: Violence erupts in Bologna as election tensions explodes into street CLASHES

ANTIFA attack women’s march in Berlin

Meanwhile in the UK, from Breitbart:

Also from Breitbart:

EU Commissioner: Spend Hundreds of Millions on Migrant ‘Ghettos’ or Face ‘Nuclear Bomb’ of Unrest

Is this a shakedown? Nice country you got there, shame if something happened to it sort of thing.

Sweden continues to get tough on the people talking about the causes of crime. From Jihad Watch:

Sweden: 71-year-old man prosecuted for “hate speech” for criticizing Islam

In Nigeria, gangs systematically destroyed Christian villages, killing dozens and obliterating any sign of the Christian faith, while the authorities did little to help according to the Express:

Armed gangs WIPE OUT 15 villages in mass Christian slaughter in Nigeria

Whether this is something the Muslim Prime Minister of Nigeria condones or not we can’t be certain. From Christianity Today:

The Christian Case for Nigeria’s New Muslim President

Gatestone Institute encourages us to learn lessons from the past:

History Lessons from Years Under Islamism

Alarming headline from the Express:

World War 3: US troops kill one HUNDRED Russian fighters in Syria through airstrikes

However the Russians denied the attack was anything to do with them. If the Russians or the jihadis don’t get you though, the robots will:

‘Futuristic’ drone technology capable of MASS KILLING is NOW available

From the Daily Mail (Follow them: @MailOnline on Twitter | DailyMail on Facebook):

Britain’s trade to EU slumps: Major boost for the ‘Leave’ campaign as our exports outside Europe continue to soar
